HISTORICAL USAGE ANALYSIS SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS

This system allows for the storing of metered charge transactions for water and sewer in a history file and allows the user to print analysis reports from that data.  The user can customize the reports.

The Analysis History Data File, is created by the billing and adjustment processes and contains the customer usage history for each meter.  The history record includes: Account Number, Meter Number, Record Type i.e. Bill Record or Adjustment Record, Route Number,  Sequence Number, Billing Date, Reading Date, Charge Type, Inside/Outside City Code, Rate Table, Category Code, Zone Code, Meter Size, Number of Units, Previous Reading, Current Reading, # of Billing Days, Rate Usage, Rate Charge, No Bill Flag and Billing Source i.e. Manual, Hand Held.

Analysis records can be viewed on screen.

The following fields can be used as a search field in Analysis File: Account Number, Meter Number, Route and Sequence Number and Billing Date.

The Analysis system allows the user to define and maintain a table with Usage Ranges to be used in the Analysis Reporting.  A minimum of thirty (30) usage ranges can be used for reporting purposes i.e. 0 to 1,000; 1,001 to 2,000.

Allows the user to define and maintain a table with Meter Sizes to be used in the Analysis Reporting.  A minimum of eight (8) meter sizes can be used for reporting purposes i.e. .75", 1", 2".

Meter Size/Zone Usage Report provides the water usage consumption by Meter Size (up to 8 meter sizes) and total consumption by usage range by Customer Category by specified usage ranges and prints either the number of users or the number of meters for each range,  recap totals of customers and usage for each meter size, a Summary Report of the above for All Customer Categories and All Water Usage prints by users inside and outside the utility district.

Meter Size/Zone Usage Report provides the sewer usage consumption by zone (up to 8 zones) and total consumption by usage range by Customer Category by specified usage ranges. It prints either the number of users or the number of meters for each range, recap totals of customers and usage for each meter size and a Summary Report of the above for All Customer Categories and All Sewer Usage.

Meter Size/Zone Break Down Report lists the customers, their billing date and usage for either water or sewer usage: by a specific date range, by a specific usage range, by a specific Customer Category or by users inside and outside the utility district

Water/Sewer Usage by Category for Zone Report prints the total amount of usage and the number of records in each usage range: by a specific date range, by a specific zone or all zones or by a specific Customer Category.

Break Down by Category for a Zone Report provides the Account Number, Customer Name, billing date and water and sewer usage and units: by a specific date range, by a specific usage range, by a specific Customer Category or by a specific zone or all zones.

Charges Listing by Zone Report provides the Account Number, Customer Name, billing date, meter number, rate table, usage and water and sewer charges by a specific date range or by a specific zone or all zones.

Analysis File Purge allows the user to delete analysis records from the system by a user specified date.
